Shalini Passi Wows in Jenny Packham at the 53rd International Emmy Awards

Post by : Raina Al-Fahim

New York, November 2025 – Renowned artist and philanthropist Shalini Passi made a captivating entrance at the 53rd International Emmy Awards in New York. Strutting down the red carpet in a chic Jenny Packham gown, Shalini's glamour and sophistication mesmerized attendees. The event celebrated outstanding achievements in international television, and Shalini’s fashion-forward presence amplified the glamour of the evening.

Her gown, crafted from twinkling, embellished fabric, gleamed brilliantly under the event's lights. The design featured a deep halter neckline paired with graceful pleats cascading from the waist. The simplicity of the silhouette highlighted the gown's exquisite fabric, requiring no additional embellishments for effect. Styled with soft waves flowing down her shoulders, her hairstyle conferred an old-Hollywood charm that echoed the gown's elegance.

A standout element of Shalini's look was her eye-catching accessory – a crystallized frog bag. Designed by Judith Leiber and valued at approximately $5,995 (around ₹5.3 lakh), this whimsical bag was encrusted with sparkling crystals. It included a playful golden crown and green gemstones for the frog’s eyes, making it a luxurious yet fun statement piece.

She complemented her gown with dangling earrings and layered bangles, rounding off her sophisticated appearance.

Shalini has consistently impressed fashion aficionados with her striking choices over the years, favoring unique and stylish gowns. Earlier this year, she dazzled in a vibrant blue Manish Malhotra design at the Cannes Film Festival, inspired by the artwork of Paresh Maity. Her innovative wardrobe continues to capture the attention of fashion lovers worldwide.

Alongside her, fellow Indian celebrity Diljit Dosanjh and filmmaker Imtiaz Ali also attended the International Emmy Awards. Diljit showcased a sparkling blazer paired with black trousers and a turban, while Imtiaz opted for an all-black ensemble, featuring a velvet blazer and pants. Their presence underscored the celebration of Indian storytelling, particularly with the film Amar Singh Chamkila garnering a nomination.

The 53rd International Emmy Awards underscored the importance of global talent in television. The appearance of these Indian personalities highlighted the rising influence of Indian narratives on the global stage, while Shalini Passi’s chic style and unforgettable accessories positioned her as one of the event's standout figures, capturing the attention of both fans and fashion critics alike.
