His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, met with the team from Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) at Emirates Towers to review the progress of new education initiatives and their implementation under Dubai's Education 33 Strategy.

During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan reaffirmed that investing in people remains a long-standing national priority for the UAE, guided by the country's leadership. He said this approach is inspired by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. He noted that providing high-quality education continues to be a key national priority and a foundation for human development and lifelong empowerment.

Dubai Strengthening Future-Focused Education

Sheikh Hamdan said Dubai is continuing to build an integrated education system that reflects the UAE's values while preparing talented individuals capable of protecting the nation's achievements and strengthening the emirate's global competitiveness. He added that the education system focuses on developing skills and talent, helping students become academically successful while remaining connected to their national identity, language and culture, and preparing them to compete internationally.

He also praised the efforts of KHDA in improving Dubai's education system and enhancing learning outcomes according to the highest international standards.

Sheikh Hamdan Highlights Vision for Learners

Speaking during the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan said: "We want every learner in Dubai to be as exceptional as their nation, distinguished by qualities and skills rooted in a strong Emirati identity, authentic values, and noble principles instilled by our Founding Fathers to empower the people of the UAE with knowledge and strengthen their readiness for the future. Our goal will always be to build a generation equipped with life skills and everything needed to lead the future, enabling them to make a positive impact that serves their community and their nation."

The strategy reflects Dubai's vision of making lifelong learning a core principle while developing learners who are proud of their national identity, culture and heritage. It also aims to prepare students who are open to the world and able to shape their own learning journeys with flexibility and independence.
