His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan hosted a delegation from the Department of Government Enablement (DGE) – Abu Dhabi, led by His Excellency Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, the department's Chairman.
In their recent meeting, His Highness delved into the latest advancements and updates concerning the Mawaheb Talent Hub located in the Al Ain Region. Their conversation centered on initiatives aimed at training, qualifying, and empowering UAE Nationals to enhance their engagement in the job market through diversified employment avenues and regional partnerships.
He also examined the progress achieved since the Empowering National Talents in Al Ain Forum, which took place in October 2025. This forum underscored the commitment to assist Emirati job seekers by harmonizing available career opportunities with their skills, qualifications, and aspirations. The aim is to enhance labor market inclusion and support youth employment initiatives within Al Ain.
His Highness emphasized the necessity for ongoing enhancement of national talent programs to prepare them for future employment, particularly in rapidly expanding sectors.
He reinforced that Emiratisation is a strategic imperative, aligning with the vision set by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He underlined the importance of equipping citizens with essential skills in artificial intelligence, advanced technologies, digital solutions, and innovation in response to evolving global economic demands.
The DGE delegation provided updates regarding community outreach initiatives, including 14 open days across the Al Ain Region, covering areas like Al Shiwayb and Al Qua’a. These events were designed to engage with national talent and facilitate recruitment in vital sectors.
The meeting also addressed preparations for the upcoming second Empowering National Talents in Al Ain Forum, set for the last quarter of this year. This next forum aims to uphold the support for employment opportunities tailored for UAE Nationals.
Previously, the 2025 forum led to the establishment of 17 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between DGE’s Mawaheb Talent Hub and various governmental, semi-governmental, and private sector organizations. These agreements enhance job prospects in sectors such as banking, finance, education, emerging technologies, and customer service, complemented by training programs to boost skills and secure long-term employment opportunities.
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with officials from DGE and Mawaheb Talent Hub, was also present during the meeting.
