President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in the State of Kuwait on a fraternal visit, highlighting the deep and friendly relations between the two countries. Upon arrival at the Amiri Airport, His Highness was received with full honors by His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait. The visit is part of ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and strengthen the historical bonds that unite the leadership and people of the UAE and Kuwait.

High-Level Reception Ceremony

The official reception reflected the strength of relations between the two Gulf nations. Among those present were His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of Kuwait, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait. Several senior Kuwaiti ministers, sheikhs, and government officials also welcomed the UAE President, marking the importance Kuwait places on this special visit.

UAE Delegation Participation

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed was accompanied by a high-level delegation from the UAE. The delegation included His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court; H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs. The visit also included H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations

The visit aims to reaffirm the shared commitment of both countries to deepen their cooperation across different fields. Discussions are expected to focus on economic collaboration, investment, education, and cultural exchange. Both leaders also plan to review regional developments and explore ways to enhance cooperation in promoting peace and stability in the Gulf region. The UAE and Kuwait continue to support each other in regional and international matters, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.

Historical Friendship and Common Vision

The relationship between the UAE and Kuwait is built on mutual respect, shared values, and a common vision for the future. Kuwait was among the first countries to support the UAE’s establishment in 1971, and the two nations have maintained strong ties ever since. The visit by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed symbolizes the UAE’s appreciation of this longstanding friendship and its ongoing efforts to strengthen Gulf unity.

Both sides aim to develop new partnerships that align with their national visions — the UAE Vision 2071 and Kuwait Vision 2035. These frameworks focus on sustainable growth, innovation, and the well-being of their citizens. The visit is expected to pave the way for enhanced collaboration in areas such as trade, technology, and security, reinforcing the shared goal of regional stability and prosperity.

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s visit is a clear symbol of the UAE’s strong commitment to its neighbors. The warm reception in Kuwait reflects the deep trust and friendship between the two nations. This visit not only celebrates past achievements but also strengthens the foundation for a brighter, more united Gulf future built on cooperation, respect, and shared progress.
