SRK and Kajol Commemorate DDLJ's 30th Anniversary with Statue Unveiling

In London’s Leicester Square, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol celebrated the 30th anniversary of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) with a memorable event. They unveiled a bronze statue that captures their iconic poses from the film, an occasion that quickly gained traction on social media.

Kajol attended the celebration alongside her children, son Yug and daughter Nysa. The heartfelt moment featured Shah Rukh with his iconic umbrella, as Kajol called her children to join in. Nysa beamed for the cameras, while Yug seemed a bit reserved. Fans expressed their admiration online, noting the striking resemblance of Yug to his father and the warmth of the family gathering.

During the event, Shah Rukh remarked, “DDLJ was crafted with heartfelt intentions. We aimed to present a love story that transcends barriers. It's remarkable that the film has maintained its resonance for 30 years. It’s a significant part of who I am, and I am truly humbled by the affection it continues to receive.”

Kajol reflected, “It's astonishing to witness DDLJ still being cherished after three decades. Unveiling the statue felt like revisiting a pivotal chapter in our history—one that has been embraced by generations.”

Directed by Aditya Chopra, DDLJ premiered in 1995 and has since evolved into a beloved romantic classic, resonating with audiences of all ages.
