His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain to take part in the 46th GCC Summit, marking another important moment in the region’s joint cooperation. His visit reflects the strong connection between Oman and Bahrain, and the shared commitment of both nations toward strengthening unity among Gulf countries.
Upon landing at Sakhir Air Base, His Majesty was greeted with great respect and warmth. A number of senior military officials also joined the welcome.
In return, His Royal Highness Prince Salman also greeted the members of the delegation accompanying the Sultan. This exchange of courtesies highlighted the mutual respect shared between the leaderships of both countries.
After the welcoming ceremony, Prince Salman escorted His Majesty to the reception hall at the air base. During their brief meeting there, the Crown Prince warmly welcomed His Majesty once again, calling Bahrain the Sultan’s “second home.” The kind words reflected Bahrain’s close and friendly stance toward Oman.
His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere thanks for the warm welcome and thoughtful arrangements made for his arrival. His words of appreciation reflected Oman’s strong relationship with Bahrain and the joint desire to continue supporting cooperation among Gulf nations.
Later, His Majesty and the Crown Prince proceeded to Sakhir Palace, which will serve as the Sultan’s residence during his stay in Bahrain. The move marked the beginning of his participation in the 46th GCC Summit, where important discussions on regional stability, cooperation, and development are expected to take place.
