Tabung Haji, Malaysia’s pilgrimage authority, has been honored for the fifth consecutive year with the esteemed Labbaitom Award from the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah. This recognition highlights Malaysia’s excellence in managing and supporting Haj pilgrims.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim expressed his congratulations to Tabung Haji, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the nation’s commitment to ensuring the well-being, safety, and comfort of Malaysian pilgrims during their annual pilgrimage. He acknowledged that the award is a testament to the dedication and improvement in service provision over the years.
The Prime Minister commended the hard work and dedication of Tabung Haji staff and Haj officers, noting their relentless efforts to provide robust support for pilgrims on their spiritual journeys. These efforts have allowed Malaysia to sustain a highly respected Haj management system globally.
The Labbaitom Award is granted annually by the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah to organizations that excel in pilgrim management. Additionally, Amal by Malaysia Airlines has also been awarded the Misk Al-Khitam Award for its outstanding management of pilgrim arrivals during the 1447H Haj season, representing its commitment to ensuring smooth travel experiences for Malaysian pilgrims heading to the holy cities.
These accolades signify Malaysia's robust capabilities in the global arena, reflecting the successful collaboration among government bodies, aviation partners, and religious authorities to deliver exceptional pilgrimage services that align with international benchmarks.
