The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has launched the latest version of the national “Tawakkalna” app, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s digital transformation. Abdullah bin Sharaf Alghamdi, SDAIA President, stated that the update reflects the leadership’s vision to create an integrated digital environment that prioritizes people and enhances government service delivery.
National Campaign for the App
Alongside the launch, a national campaign was introduced to promote the updated Tawakkalna app. Alghamdi emphasized that the app balances innovation, responsibility, and efficient execution to make government services easier to access, more reliable, and higher in quality. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the app’s expanded features and benefits for citizens, residents, and visitors.
Unified Access to Government Services
The Tawakkalna app has been transformed into a national comprehensive platform, allowing users to access all government services through a single digital portal. This initiative simplifies procedures, improves government performance, and enhances satisfaction with public services. The update aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to advance a modern and inclusive digital environment.
Integration with Government Platforms
Tawakkalna now partners with more than 250 government entities to enhance integration across platforms. The app offers over 1,000 digital services, helping streamline user journeys and improving operational efficiency. Alghamdi noted that this integration positions Saudi Arabia as a regional and global leader in digital governance.
Expansion to Private-Sector Services
The app continues to expand its digital offerings to include private-sector services. By integrating technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics, Tawakkalna aims to improve the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of both government and private services. This reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to using technology to serve the public and achieve sustainable development.
Focus on User Experience
A key goal of the updated Tawakkalna app is to enhance the user experience. The app’s interface, features, and service delivery have been improved to make interactions smoother and more intuitive. The initiative demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s commitment to a citizen-centric approach in its digital transformation efforts.
Tawakkalna plays a central role in advancing the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by driving digital transformation, improving service quality, and fostering operational excellence. The app’s continued development reflects the Kingdom’s strategic efforts to build a smart, efficient, and inclusive digital ecosystem.
