Tere Ishk Mein Box Office Day 6 Earnings Hit ₹76.75 Crore

Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, has scored impressively at the Indian box office with ₹76.75 crore in its first six days. Following a victorious opening weekend, the film experienced a typical midweek decline yet maintained steady occupancy in major cities.

The movie earned ₹16 crore on Friday, climbed to ₹17 crore on Saturday (+6.25%), and reached ₹19 crore on Sunday (+11.76%). A dip occurred on Monday, earning ₹8.75 crore (-53.95%), then rose to ₹10.25 crore on Tuesday (+17.14%) before dropping to ₹5.07 crore on Wednesday. While the opening weekend surged, especially on Sunday, the weekdays saw moderated declines, aligning with normal audience behavior.

Occupancy rates varied, peaking in Chennai and Jaipur at 16%, with Lucknow at 15.33%, while Mumbai, Pune, and NCR ranged between 12–13%. Other cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Surat, and Bhopal reported occupancy from 5.33–11.67%. Morning and afternoon screenings saw rates of 4–18%, evening shows had slightly higher attendance, while late-night screenings faced challenges at 0%. Chennai hosted 57 shows while NCR topped with 1,296 shows, highlighting regional audience distribution.

Directed by Aanand L. Rai, Tere Ishk Mein dives into a romantic-drama narrative, focusing on the tumultuous love story between Shankar (Dhanush), an emotionally volatile Air Force pilot, and Mukti (Kriti Sanon), a psychologist sent to help him. Their college romance descends into obsession, betrayal, and heartbreak following Mukti's departure, propelling an emotionally gripping tale.

Accompanied by music from A. R. Rahman, the film has ignited discussions due to its profound and intense themes, captivating audiences through stellar performances, evocative music, and deep emotional storytelling.
