UAE and Italy Strengthen Ties as Foreign Ministers Hold Talks

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, held a phone conversation with Antonio Tajani, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy. During this call, both leaders spoke about the deep and growing partnership between the UAE and Italy, and explored new ways to strengthen their cooperation.

Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that the relationship between the two countries has always been based on strong trust and mutual respect. He praised the long-standing friendship with Italy and explained that the two nations continue to build a stronger strategic partnership that benefits both sides. He added that the UAE and Italy are committed to expanding their cooperation to support development, economic growth, and long-term progress for their people.

The discussion focused on several key fields where both countries can enhance their joint efforts. These areas included political coordination, trade, investment, culture, and advanced technology. Both ministers agreed that working together in these sectors would help create more opportunities and further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two nations. They also expressed their shared desire to open new doors for collaboration in the coming years.

Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Tajani also used the call to review important regional developments and global issues. They exchanged views on the current situation in various parts of the world and stressed the need for peaceful dialogue and international cooperation. Both sides emphasised that stability and peace are essential for the prosperity of all countries.
