H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed Sean S.M. Sobers, the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago, in Abu Dhabi today. The meeting focused on strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries and exploring ways to expand collaboration across various important sectors.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the strong ties that exist between the UAE and Trinidad and Tobago. He emphasized the importance of continuing to work together to develop these relations further. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation across all fields. This partnership aims to support mutual goals, including achieving sustainable economic growth and overall development for both nations.

The discussions also covered the latest regional and international developments. Sheikh Abdullah and Minister Sobers exchanged views on several matters of common interest, showing their readiness to collaborate on global and regional challenges. The meeting was attended by Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, the Minister of State, and Omar Shehadeh, the UAE Envoy to the Caribbean and Pacific States. Both countries discussed future opportunities to organize joint initiatives, share knowledge, and create programs that benefit their citizens while promoting cultural exchange.
