The UAE Boxing Federation has signed an important cooperation agreement with the World Boxing Council (WBC) and the Eurasian Boxing Parliament (EBP). The agreement aims to develop and organise major boxing championships and events in the UAE in the coming period.
The federation also announced a strategic partnership with Sports Service Professional. This partnership will help manage and organise its tournaments professionally, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality events.
The announcement was made at a press conference held in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by the presidents and chairmen of all organisations involved, highlighting the significance of the collaboration for the UAE boxing community.
During the conference, the President of the WBC signed the official document confirming the UAE Boxing Federation’s membership in the council. This gives the federation full authority to organise all boxing-related events and activities within the country.
It was also announced that Abu Dhabi will host the annual WBC conference. This marks an important step for the UAE in the international boxing scene and shows the country’s growing influence in the sport.
The new partnerships are expected to boost the sport’s profile in the region. They will create new opportunities for athletes, fans, and event organisers, helping promote boxing and develop talent in the UAE and beyond.
