Fujairah Ruler Meets China’s Yasha Group to Boost Cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, welcomed Ding Zecheng, Chairman of China’s Yasha Group, along with his delegation at Al Rumaila Palace. The meeting highlighted ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the UAE and China. Both sides focused on opportunities in sustainability, smart city development, and other modern industries that can serve the interests of the two friendly nations.

During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Hamad was briefed on Yasha Group’s work in improving building efficiency and supporting the development of smart cities. The discussion also covered the group’s commitment to sustainable practices and its programs aimed at nurturing youth innovation. The Ruler expressed his support for initiatives that align with Fujairah’s vision of sustainable economic growth and technological advancement.

Chairman Ding Zecheng praised the emirate’s investment-friendly environment, noting that Fujairah encourages projects that integrate cultural identity with modern architecture. He emphasized the importance of architecture as a bridge between different civilizations and expressed interest in collaborating on building and cultural projects. The discussions also highlighted the potential for adopting advanced green construction technologies and digital solutions in local projects, contributing to long-term urban development.

The meeting was attended by senior officials including Mohammed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Court, and Mohammed Saif Al Afkham, Director-General of Fujairah Municipality. Both parties expressed optimism about future cooperation, aiming to create innovative solutions that benefit the economy, the environment, and the community. The talks reinforced Fujairah’s role as a hub for sustainable investment and as a partner for international organizations seeking to combine modern development with cultural heritage.
