President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a warm message of congratulations to President Mohamed Ould Ghazouani of Mauritania on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day. The message reflects the strong friendship and diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Mauritania.

In addition, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, sent a similar message to President Ghazouani. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also conveyed his greetings to both the President and Prime Minister El Moctar Ould Djay of Mauritania.

Mauritania’s Independence Day marks the country’s liberation from colonial rule and celebrates its national sovereignty.
