UAE Leadership Extends Congratulations to Romania on National Day

Post by : Bianca Haleem

In a demonstration of the enduring diplomatic relations between the UAE and Romania, President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed sincere congratulations to President Nicusor Dan for Romania's National Day.

This communication underscored the deep-rooted friendship and cooperation that characterize the partnership between the two nations, focusing on their shared values and the commitment to enhance bilateral relations across various sectors.

In a similar vein, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, offered additional greetings. Their messages were directed to both President Nicusor Dan and Romania's Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, emphasizing the significance of collaboration and mutual respect.

These messages exemplify the UAE's strategic approach to cultivating robust international relationships, honoring national occasions globally. Such gestures celebrate Romania's cultural legacy while bolstering diplomatic goodwill and future cooperative endeavors.

Romania's National Day, celebrated each year on December 1, marks the unification of the Romanian provinces of Transylvania, Bessarabia, and Bukovina with the Romanian Kingdom in 1918. It is a day imbued with national pride, festivities, and international diplomatic recognition.

Through these congratulatory messages, the UAE reaffirms its dedication to fostering enduring relationships beyond its borders, reinforcing that international friendship is a fundamental aspect of its foreign policy.
