UAE Minister Joins Uganda Independence, Boosts Relations

Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs, represented President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed at Uganda’s 63rd Independence Day in Kampala. The event celebrated Uganda’s national history and strengthened ties between the UAE and Uganda.

Sending Greetings from UAE Leadership

During the celebrations, Dr. Al Neyadi conveyed greetings from President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed to Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni. He also wished Uganda continued progress and prosperity for its people.

Strengthening UAE-Uganda Cooperation

Dr. Al Neyadi highlighted the growing cooperation between the UAE and Uganda in areas like trade, investment, and community development. He said both countries are working together to achieve shared goals.

UAE Diplomats and International Guests

The event was attended by UAE Ambassador Abdullah Al Shamsi, senior officials, and representatives from many countries. Their presence showed the importance of international friendship and cooperation.

Participating in Youth Conference

Dr. Al Neyadi also joined the "AFRO-Arab Youth Council" conference, focused on “Amplifying Youth Voices for Peace, Unity and Prosperity.” The conference aimed to support young leaders and help them contribute to their communities.

Supporting Youth Empowerment

The minister emphasized the UAE’s focus on helping young people develop skills and leadership abilities. He said empowering youth is key to building strong, sustainable communities.

Dr. Al Neyadi said the UAE is committed to working with Uganda on projects that benefit both countries. This includes supporting community growth, youth programs, and long-term cooperation.

The minister’s visit highlights the UAE’s plan to continue building friendly relations with Uganda. By supporting youth and strengthening partnerships, the UAE and Uganda aim to achieve lasting peace, growth, and prosperity together.
