National Ambulance Ensures Safety At Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

National Ambulance is set to provide emergency medical support at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025, taking place at Yas Marina Circuit from 4th to 7th December. This marks the 12th consecutive year that the organisation has participated in the event, highlighting its commitment to safety and preparedness during major sporting events in the UAE.

For this year’s Grand Prix, National Ambulance has deployed around 70 qualified professionals, including doctors, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, command and communication center staff, pharmacists, and other support personnel. The team will operate across the circuit, including the Medical Center, ensuring comprehensive care for Formula 1 drivers, team members, and event organisers.

The deployment is supported by a fleet of 14 fully equipped ambulances, ready to respond quickly to any medical emergencies on-site. National Ambulance works in close collaboration with partners such as the Emirates Motorsport Organisation (EMSO), Yas Marina Circuit, Ethara, and other strategic stakeholders to provide seamless and integrated medical services.

Beyond the F1 event, National Ambulance offers year-round emergency services at Yas Marina Circuit. These services support a variety of activities, including motorsport events, entertainment shows, and community health initiatives. The organisation’s continuous presence ensures that the circuit maintains a high standard of safety for both participants and visitors.

Officials emphasize that the preparation for the Grand Prix goes beyond deploying personnel and vehicles. Teams conduct regular drills, coordinate communication systems, and follow strict protocols to handle all types of medical emergencies effectively. This meticulous approach ensures rapid response and enhances the overall safety of the event.

By participating in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix each year, National Ambulance strengthens the UAE’s national emergency response capacity. Their consistent involvement demonstrates operational excellence and commitment to upholding international safety standards in large-scale events.

The presence of National Ambulance guarantees peace of mind for drivers, teams, and spectators. The organisation’s skilled staff, advanced equipment, and coordinated approach make it a vital component of the event’s safety infrastructure, reflecting the UAE’s dedication to world-class emergency medical services.
