President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has been formally invited by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to attend the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit. The major regional meeting is scheduled to take place in Bahrain this December and will bring together leaders from across the Gulf to discuss key issues and future cooperation.

The written invitation was personally delivered to His Highness during a meeting at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE, visited the President to hand over the message. His Highness welcomed the ambassador warmly and thanked him for the visit and the thoughtful gesture from the King of Bahrain.

During the meeting, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah conveyed the warm greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also shared the King’s best wishes for the UAE President’s continued good health, happiness, and success. The King expressed his hope that the UAE will continue achieving progress and prosperity in the coming years.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed responded by extending his own heartfelt greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa. He also conveyed his best wishes for the ongoing progress, stability, and prosperity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. The exchange of messages reflected the deep friendship and mutual respect shared by the two countries.

The meeting further highlighted the strong and long-standing relationship between the UAE and Bahrain. The two nations have always shared close cultural, social, and political ties, strengthened by cooperation in many fields. Both countries continue to work together on regional issues and support initiatives that benefit the Gulf region and its future.

The upcoming GCC Summit is expected to focus on key regional developments, economic cooperation, and joint strategies to promote security and stability. The summit brings together leaders from Gulf nations to discuss shared goals, enhance unity, and plan long-term policies that support the region’s growth.

Sheikh Mohamed’s invitation to the summit underlines the UAE’s important role within the GCC and its commitment to working closely with fellow Gulf states. The UAE has consistently supported efforts to strengthen regional unity, encourage economic partnerships, and promote peace and stability.

The exchange between Sheikh Mohamed and the Bahraini Ambassador also reaffirmed the strong partnership between the UAE and Bahrain. Both nations have collaborated across many fields, including economy, security, culture, and development. Their shared vision helps support the aspirations of both peoples and strengthens the overall cooperation within the Gulf.

The warm messages shared during the meeting reflect the trust and respect that define UAE–Bahrain relations. Both leaderships continue to work closely to support the region’s stability and progress.

As December approaches, preparations for the 46th GCC Summit are expected to intensify. The summit will provide an important platform for discussing future strategies that can help the Gulf region develop further. With many important regional issues on the agenda, the participation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed will add significant value to the discussions.

The UAE remains committed to supporting collective efforts to build a secure and prosperous future for all GCC member states. The upcoming summit is yet another opportunity for Gulf leaders to unite, exchange views, and strengthen cooperation.
