His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and UAE Minister of Finance, visited the Ministry of Finance’s platform at GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world’s largest technology and AI exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The 45th edition of the event concluded today.
The Ministry showcased its latest digital projects and AI-driven initiatives to strengthen smart government financial management, improve efficiency, and enhance public services. Sheikh Maktoum was briefed on 10 innovative digital tools that use AI and data analysis to boost financial operations, improve user experience, and integrate government services into a unified financial ecosystem.
Key initiatives include:
Digital Procurement Platform: An interactive system connecting government entities and suppliers, making procurement more efficient and sustainable.
Federal Property Platform: Manages and monitors government-owned assets with clear governance and transparency.
Rashid – AI Financial Advisor for Youth: A mobile app teaching financial literacy, budgeting, and investment to young people aged 18–30.
Mona – AI Advisor for Financial Data: Provides interactive dashboards for revenue, budget forecasts, and data insights.
MoF AI Companion: A virtual AI assistant offering multilingual support for government services 24/7.
FinPolicyX – Digital Policy Advisory Platform: Uses AI to answer queries on financial legislation and policies quickly and accurately.
Interactive Annual Budget Book: Allows users to explore budgets with visuals, historical comparisons, and real-time interaction.
Other highlights included the Procurement Gamification Challenge, an educational game for understanding government procurement, and the Catalogue of Services, an AI platform that helps citizens and businesses access services across ministries.
Sheikh Maktoum emphasized that the UAE is advancing towards a fully integrated digital government, where AI and technology support transparency, efficiency, and sustainable management of public resources.
The Ministry’s participation at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 reflects the UAE’s commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and global leadership in finance and technology. The event hosted 1,400 speakers, 6,800 tech companies, and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, serving as a global platform for AI innovation, knowledge exchange, and economic growth.
Through these initiatives, the Ministry of Finance continues to enhance government efficiency, empower citizens, and drive the UAE’s vision of becoming a global model for digital financial management.
