Omar Obaid Alhesan Alshamsi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of Bayram Bayramov, the newly appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the UAE. The ceremony highlighted the continuing diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
During the meeting, Alshamsi extended his best wishes to Ambassador Bayramov for success in his duties. He emphasised the UAE’s commitment to enhancing relations with Turkmenistan across political, economic, cultural, and social fields, underlining the importance of strong bilateral ties.
Ambassador Bayramov expressed appreciation for the UAE’s leading position in the region and internationally. He commended the country’s visionary policies under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, highlighting the UAE’s role in promoting development and stability.
The UAE and Turkmenistan share a history of distinguished relations in areas of mutual interest. Both countries have collaborated on projects spanning trade, investment, education, culture, and sustainable development. The ambassadorial meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to continue and expand these cooperative efforts.
Alshamsi and Bayramov also discussed initiatives to further support sustainable development in both countries. Strengthening economic and social partnerships was highlighted as a key goal, ensuring that cooperation benefits the citizens and communities of the UAE and Turkmenistan.
