UAE Fuel Prices Set to Increase in December 2025

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Dubai, UAE – Fuel prices in the UAE are set to witness an increase this December, as announced by the country's fuel pricing committee. This uptick in rates will affect both commuters and various businesses throughout the nation.

The price for Super 98 petrol, favored by many drivers, will change to AED 2.70 per litre, up from AED 2.63 in November. Special 95 petrol is now priced at AED 2.58 per litre, an increase from AED 2.51. E-Plus petrol will be offered at AED 2.51, after a 7 fils hike from the prior month.

Diesel has seen the most significant rise this month, reaching AED 2.85 per litre, up from AED 2.67. This surge aligns with trends in global oil prices and local market dynamics, leading to higher costs in transportation and logistics.

While the increases are modest, they can accumulate and potentially impact daily commuting costs and freight charges. Motorists are encouraged to adjust their plans as these new prices take effect immediately across the UAE.

This adjustment reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining balance in energy supply and market stability, catering to residents while navigating fluctuating global prices.
