The United States has carried out a strike on a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran, according to the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
In a post shared on X on Monday, CENTCOM said the operation took place on Sunday and involved the use of multiple one-way attack surface drones.
CENTCOM said in its statement:
"Yesterday, using multiple one-way attack surface drones, CENTCOM forces successfully struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran."
The command did not provide additional details about the operation in the statement.

The latest strike comes as the United States and Iran continue to exchange fresh attacks. Washington has recently carried out strikes on various parts of Iran, marking another development in the ongoing tensions between the two countries.
