Israeli forces arrested 13 Palestinians during raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank on October 12, 2026, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), as reported by the Oman News Agency. The reported arrests took place in areas linked to Jenin, Bethlehem, Nablus, Ramallah and Tulkarm.
According to WAFA, six Palestinians were arrested from the villages of Fahma and Zububa, located south and west of Jenin. Four others were arrested in the Bethlehem Governorate, while another person was detained in the city of Nablus. The report did not provide further details about the identities of those arrested or the specific circumstances of each detention.

The report also stated that an individual previously released from prison was arrested in Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah. Another young man was detained in Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm. These arrests brought the total number of Palestinians reported detained during the operations to 13.
In a related development, Israeli forces reportedly installed three iron gates at entrances to the town of Ya’bad and along roads leading to the villages of Kfirt and Kafr Qud, southwest of Jenin. According to the report, the installations were part of measures restricting movement in the affected communities. The report did not specify how long the gates would remain in place or whether any exemptions to the restrictions would apply.
The reported installation of the gates could affect residents travelling between the towns and villages in the area. Access restrictions can create additional difficulties for people travelling to work, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and other essential services. However, the report did not provide specific details about traffic disruption or the direct impact on individual communities following the latest installations.
The Oman News Agency report, citing WAFA, noted that towns, cities and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem continue to experience raids and incursions. These operations have reportedly involved arrests and confrontations, while movement restrictions remain a concern in several locations.
