Vietnam has officially inaugurated the Yen Binh Concentrated Digital Technology Park in Thai Nguyen Province, with Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung leading the groundbreaking ceremony. This initiative aims to establish a significant hub for digital technology and innovation, contributing to the country's broader digital transformation strategy.
Investment to Propel Digital Economy
Spanning almost 200 hectares, the technology park boasts investments surpassing 3,500 billion VND. Its strategic location near the Hanoi–Thai Nguyen Expressway, about 45 kilometers from Noi Bai International Airport, positions it to connect vital industrial and technological centers throughout northern Vietnam.
Emphasis on High-Tech Sectors
The Yen Binh Digital Technology Park will target five major sectors: software and AI, digital graphics, industrial automation and robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, and IoT devices and semiconductor technology. It is also envisioned as a national center for research, innovation, and digital technology training.
