Sheikh Tahnoon Reviews Abu Dhabi AI Digital Strategy

In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi, chaired a meeting of the Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council. The session showed the importance that the leadership places on artificial intelligence and advanced technology as key areas for the future.

Focus on Government Digital Strategy

The Council reviewed the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025–2027. This strategy has a bold aim: to make Abu Dhabi the world’s first AI-enabled government by the year 2027. Each of these institutions plays a role in building an AI-driven future for Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology Council was established in January 2024. Since then, it has been responsible for creating policies that support the use of AI technologies. It also works on research, innovation, and public-private collaboration.
