Al Sadd secured a narrow 27-26 victory against Al Ahli in the second round of the 2025-2026 Qatar Men’s Handball League. Despite trailing 14-17 at halftime, Al Sadd mounted a strong second-half comeback to snatch the win by a single goal. The victory lifts Al Sadd to four points, matching Al Ahli’s tally, as both teams now sit on level footing in the league table.

Al Wakrah Dominates Qatar SC

In another match of the same round, Al Wakrah showcased a commanding performance to defeat Qatar SC 24-19. Al Wakrah led 12-9 at halftime and maintained their momentum in the second half to secure a five-goal win. The result moved Al Wakrah to four points, while Qatar SC remain on two points after two rounds.

Upcoming Fixtures in Round Two

The second round of the league continues tomorrow with three fixtures scheduled. Al Arabi will face Al Shamal, Al Khor will take on Al Duhail, and Al Gharafa will meet Al Rayyan.
