Dubai Airports announced on Friday that more than 1,140 flights were facilitated across the city’s two main airports in the past 84 hours to help travellers return to their home countries.
The flights were handled at Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC).
According to a statement shared on X, between March 2 and March 5 more than 500 outbound flights departed from the two airports. These flights provided around 105,000 seats for passengers travelling to more than 80 countries.
Airport authorities said the number of flights is continuing to rise every day as additional services are being added to meet growing travel demand.
Dubai Airports also advised travellers to check the latest flight status with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport to avoid any inconvenience.
