Dubai is preparing to host the 13th Edition of the Dubai Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery Conference and Exhibition from 6th to 8th November 2025. The event will be held at the Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan Dubai and is expected to be one of the most important medical gatherings in the region. It will focus on ear, skull base, and neurotology advancements that continue to shape global healthcare standards.
The 2025 edition will welcome more than 700 medical professionals and specialists from over 26 countries. The conference will feature 65 leading international speakers and over 50 renowned medical brands showcasing the latest technologies and innovations. The event will also offer 24 Continuing Medical Education (CME) accredited hours spread across 24 specialised scientific sessions, giving attendees a valuable learning opportunity.
Ambassador Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) for the GCC Region and Chairman of the Dubai Otology Conference, highlighted the importance of the event. He said that over the years, Dubai Otology has become an international platform that promotes scientific exchange and innovation among experts. The 13th edition will continue this mission by showcasing the latest technologies, treatment approaches, and research developments that are transforming ear and skull base healthcare globally.
Dr. AlMadani also emphasised that this annual conference supports continuous medical education and plays a major role in strengthening Dubai’s position as a global hub for specialised medical congresses. With its world-class infrastructure and advanced healthcare system, Dubai continues to attract international experts seeking to collaborate and share medical knowledge.
The 2025 conference will feature two major tracks — the Dubai Otology Conference and the Audio-Vestibular & Rehabilitation Conference. These tracks will run concurrently across the three days, allowing participants to explore a wide variety of topics related to otology, neurotology, and rehabilitation. The sessions will focus on clinical practices, innovative research, and advanced technology applications in the field.
Participants will have the chance to learn about the latest developments in areas such as Cholesteatoma and Mastoid Surgery, Facial Nerve Disorders, Tympanoplasty and Ossiculoplasty, and Stapes Surgery. Other important topics include Auditory Implants, Hearing Loss and Tinnitus, Management of Vertigo, Cochlear Implantation, and Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. The Audio-Vestibular & Rehabilitation segment will highlight diagnostic advancements and modern rehabilitation therapies designed to improve hearing and balance for patients.
Adding to the scientific sessions, the conference will also include the Dubai Otology Hands-On Cadaveric Workshop, to be held from 9th to 11th November 2025 at the University of Sharjah. This workshop will offer practical training in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), Rhinoplasty, and Temporal Bone Dissection. It will allow participants to practice advanced surgical techniques under expert supervision, enhancing their clinical and procedural skills.
The upcoming event aims to create a bridge between theory and practice, combining lectures, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions. By bringing together global experts, researchers, and practitioners, the conference seeks to inspire future collaborations and encourage the exchange of new research ideas that contribute to medical excellence.
With more than a decade of successful editions, Dubai Otology has earned a strong reputation for its contribution to otology and neurotology education. The 13th edition continues this legacy by integrating academic expertise, hands-on experience, and international networking opportunities. The event serves as a vital platform for professionals to discuss emerging technologies and the latest advancements that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.
The Dubai Otology Conference is a testament to the UAE’s ongoing efforts to promote advanced medical research and professional training. It aligns with the country’s vision to become a global leader in healthcare education and innovation.
