Dubai South Introduces Aviation Industrial Hub at MBRAH

Post by : Bianca Haleem

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) has officially launched its latest Light Industrial and Maintenance Complex in Dubai South, aimed at catering to the increasing demands of the aviation and aerospace sectors.

Spanning over 24,900 square meters, this new facility will feature 33 specialized units that are meticulously designed for a variety of aviation-related functions. These spaces will be modern and flexible, catering specifically to businesses engaged in aviation services, maintenance, engineering, and aerologistics.

According to MBRAH, these units can be modified and merged according to operational needs, enabling companies to effectively scale their operations within Dubai South's comprehensive aviation ecosystem. The anticipated completion date for the project is set for the third quarter of 2027.

Tahnoon Saif, CEO of MBRAH, emphasized that this launch signifies ongoing efforts to bolster the aviation and aerospace supply chains. He stated that the hub is dedicated to creating infrastructure that aligns with current market demands while also focusing on future growth in the industry.

Saif further highlighted that the initiative supports Dubai's overarching vision of enhancing its status as a global aviation hub by offering state-of-the-art infrastructure and supportive facilities for international aerospace entities.

MBRAH is positioned as a free-zone hub, attracting major airlines, private jet operators, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) firms, along with various aviation-related businesses from across the globe. The hub also features maintenance centers, educational facilities, and training campuses that are intended to foster the advancement of the aerospace and engineering fields in Dubai.
