North Al Batinah Launches Initiative to Promote Positive Values

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Directorate General of Education in the North Al Batinah Governorate has officially launched a new initiative aimed at promoting positive values and behaviors among students and the wider community. This effort seeks to strengthen moral, social, and cultural awareness within the educational environment and beyond, contributing to the development of responsible and ethical citizens.

The program reflects the governorate’s commitment to fostering a supportive and value-driven educational ecosystem.

Collaboration with Government Institutions

The initiative is being implemented in partnership with several government bodies, including the Directorate General of Social Development and the Directorate of Endowments and Religious Affairs in North Al Batinah. This collaboration ensures that the program aligns with both social development goals and religious and cultural values, creating a comprehensive approach to instilling positive behaviors.

Such partnerships provide schools and community members with guidance, resources, and structured programs that promote respect, responsibility, and civic engagement.

Focus on Educational Environment

Schools in the governorate will serve as the primary platform for this initiative, integrating activities that encourage positive conduct and ethical behavior into the daily routines of students. Workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions are planned to engage students actively and foster practical understanding of values like integrity, respect, and empathy.

Teachers and educational staff will play a key role in mentoring students and reinforcing these values both inside and outside the classroom.

Community Engagement and Awareness

Beyond schools, the initiative will reach the wider community to reinforce societal norms and encourage positive interactions among residents. Community-based programs and campaigns aim to educate parents and local stakeholders about the importance of values in shaping youth behavior and contributing to a harmonious society.

This holistic approach ensures that students not only learn positive values at school but also witness and practice them in their homes and communities.

The initiative aspires to create a lasting impact on the governorate by embedding positive values in the culture of education and daily life. By promoting ethical conduct, social responsibility, and civic awareness, the program aims to nurture well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to society.

Officials believe that consistent reinforcement of these values will strengthen community cohesion and foster a supportive environment where students and citizens alike can thrive.
