On Thursday, Badr Abdelatty, the Foreign Minister of Egypt, engaged in significant discussions with top Iraqi officials in Baghdad, where the primary aim was to alleviate regional tensions and bolster bilateral relations.

During the dialogues, Abdelatty underscored the critical importance of ramping up diplomatic initiatives to avert further unrest within the region. He reiterated that securing Iraq’s sovereignty is vital for sustaining wider regional peace and stability.

The meetings also covered crucial collaborative areas, emphasizing the enhancement of economic ties and the progression of shared strategic ventures. These endeavors are part of a cooperative framework involving Egypt, Iraq, and Jordan, designed to promote regional integration and growth.
