GCC Reaffirms Commitment to UAE Following Terror Threat

Post by : Bianca Haleem

Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has condemned any threats against the security and stability of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He commended UAE security forces for their vigilance and expertise in successfully averting terrorist activities, uncovering those responsible, and making arrests. These actions exemplify the nation’s dedication to protecting its national interests and ensuring public safety.

Al-Budaiwi reiterated the GCC's complete backing and solidarity with the UAE, emphasizing that the council will support all necessary measures to maintain safety, security, and territorial integrity against any dangers.

The GCC also reiterated its firm opposition to all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, condemning any actions or rhetoric that promote such behavior, regardless of the justifications offered.
