Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) has successfully attained the International Quality Accreditation (IQA) from the UK Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA). This significant milestone underscores the university's dedication to upholding high academic standards while promoting its humanitarian aims of tolerance, coexistence, and cultural dialogue.
The accreditation elevates MBZUH's status as a center of academic excellence combined with a values-driven educational philosophy focused on enhancing understanding between different communities and ensuring quality higher education.
The International Quality Accreditation affirms that the institution aligns with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ESG), recognized globally as benchmarks for quality assurance in higher learning.
The ESG framework evaluates varied aspects, such as academic program quality, student experience, resource utilization, governance, and continual institutional development, thereby fostering ongoing improvements and adherence to best practices.

The accreditation review conducted an in-depth evaluation of MBZUH's essential functions, including its leadership, strategic planning, academic offerings, and quality assurance systems.
The findings reflected the university's robust foundation capable of responding to the evolving global educational landscape while sustaining high academic standards.
As part of the accreditation process, evaluations of student services and campus life were conducted.
The review included recruitment policies, admissions processes, orientation, academic advising, mental health services, welfare initiatives, cultural activities, digital learning tools, scholarships, and resources.
The recognition of these components highlights the university's success in fostering an environment conducive to both academic success and personal growth.
Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor, described the accreditation as an achievement that signifies not just international recognition but also the fulfillment of a strategic vision focusing on people, knowledge, and values as foundations for future advancements. "This accreditation reflects our commitment to evolving and enhancing our international partnerships and academic initiatives that address contemporary global challenges," he noted.
Dr. Al Dhaheri emphasized that the university regards human knowledge as vital for progress, with a focus on fostering critical thinking and constructive dialogue at its core.
