Menassah Distribution Company continues to enhance its role in the Arab cultural scene by actively supporting Emirati publishers. The company participates in regional book fairs to promote local publishing, foster literary creativity, and increase the visibility of Arabic content both in the UAE and across the region.
From 26th October to 2nd November 2025, Menassah is participating in the Fujairah Children’s Book Fair. The event is organized under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. During the fair, Menassah will showcase 275 titles from 51 Emirati publishers, totaling 493 books, providing young readers with rich literary experiences and opportunities to develop a love for reading.
Earlier in October, Menassah took part in a book fair held in conjunction with the Katara Arabic Novel Award in Doha, from 13th to 19th October 2025. At this event, the company promoted 565 titles from 79 Emirati publishers, amounting to 2,414 books. The participation helped Emirati authors reach wider audiences, further supporting the regional Arabic literary scene.
Both fairs included a range of cultural and literary activities such as book signings, reading sessions, and discussions. These events provided platforms for interaction between authors and readers, strengthening engagement with Arabic literature and raising the profile of local publishing efforts across the Arab world.
Rashid Al Kous, Director-General of Menassah, emphasized that participation in the Fujairah and Katara book fairs reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the UAE publishing industry. He highlighted the importance of empowering publishers, encouraging creative writing, and promoting Arabic books in regional and international forums.
Al Kous added that these initiatives aim to create new opportunities for collaboration among publishers, authors, and cultural institutions. By sharing knowledge and experiences at these fairs, Menassah contributes to a sustainable cultural ecosystem that strengthens the UAE’s role as a hub for literary creativity and innovation.
Through its consistent participation in regional events, Menassah is helping to raise awareness about Arabic literature and its importance in cultural identity. The company’s efforts ensure that Emirati publishers and authors gain recognition, while readers benefit from access to a diverse and growing collection of high-quality Arabic books.
Menassah’s active engagement in book fairs aligns with the UAE’s vision to promote culture, creativity, and knowledge. By continuing to support publishers and literary initiatives, Menassah strengthens the nation’s cultural influence and nurtures a love for Arabic reading among younger generations.
