MOEHE Fully Ready for End-of-Semester Exams in All Schools

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that it is fully prepared to begin the end-of-semester exams for the 2025-2026 academic year. This confirmation was shared during a large coordination meeting organised by the Student Assessment Department with principals from public and private secondary schools that follow national standards. The main goal of the meeting was to make sure every school understands the procedures and is completely ready for the upcoming exams.

During the meeting, Ibrahim Abdullah Al Mohannadi, Director of the Student Assessment Department, gave a detailed presentation. He explained the final steps taken by the Ministry, the approved exam schedule, and all the major guidelines that schools must follow. He stressed that all instructions should be carefully followed so that exams run smoothly for students and teachers alike. According to him, preparing exam halls early, maintaining discipline, and creating a calm environment are essential to ensure fairness for all students.

He also highlighted that this year’s exam procedures include specific rules for elective subjects. These rules cover grading methods, the correct way to record scores, and the importance of following the official timeline for submitting and approving grades. The Ministry wants to ensure that all schools handle results in a transparent and organised manner.

The meeting reviewed important regulations related to exam committees. It was made clear that invigilators must act professionally and support students without breaking any rules. One of the key points discussed was the strict ban on electronic devices. Students will not be allowed to bring mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, or any device that could disrupt the exam environment. This rule is designed to protect exam fairness and maintain a stable and secure assessment system. The Ministry believes that controlling the use of electronics is essential to prevent cheating and maintain full exam integrity.

School leaders also took part in an open discussion at the end of the session. They raised questions, shared their concerns, and asked for clarifications about certain exam procedures. The Student Assessment Department responded to all queries and assured schools that support will continue throughout the exam period. The aim is to help every school conduct the exams smoothly and meet the Ministry’s high educational standards.

The Ministry’s message was clear: it is committed to ensuring that all schools are well prepared, that students receive a fair testing environment, and that the exam process runs without any issues. By providing strong guidelines, consistent communication, and detailed instructions, the Ministry aims to deliver a well-organised exam season that benefits every student. The entire exam plan reflects the Ministry’s focus on quality education, strong organisation, and continuous improvement in assessment methods.

With full coordination between the Ministry and schools, and with students being guided under clear and updated rules, the upcoming exams are expected to proceed efficiently and professionally. This preparation shows the Ministry’s dedication to building a reliable education system that supports students' success.
