The officials toured the mosque’s halls and external corridors and learned about the mosque’s establishment and its cultural mission promoting coexistence, tolerance, and openness.

During the visit, Hasher Aldhaheri, a Cultural Guide Specialist at the mosque, highlighted its impressive architecture and artistic features. He explained how the mosque combines Islamic art and design from different periods, creating a harmonious and visually stunning environment. The tour demonstrated how diverse architectural styles come together, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to cultural unity and creativity.

Mucunski and his delegation also visited the mausoleum of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, recalling his wisdom and vision of peace that continues to shape the UAE’s culture of coexistence. The Minister praised the UAE’s leadership, saying it is an honor to see a vision that unites people and inspires respect worldwide. He commended the UAE as a nation that reflects the values established by Sheikh Zayed and wished it continued success in all future endeavors.

As a gesture of appreciation, the delegation was presented with a commemorative gift representing the mosque’s artistic beauty. They also received a copy of “Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque: Lights of Peace,” a publication that highlights the mosque’s architectural uniqueness and includes award-winning photographs from the “Spaces of Light” competition.
