Observed every month on the Krishna Paksha Chaturdashi (the 14th day of the waning moon), this day is considered highly auspicious for worship, meditation, and fasting. In October 2025, Masik Shivratri falls on 19 October. According to the Panchang, the Chaturdashi Tithi begins at 1:51 PM on 19 October and ends at 3:44 PM on 20 October. Devotees should observe the fast and perform rituals during this Tithi to gain the maximum blessings of Lord Shiva.

Fruits and Chandan: Place fruits and sandalwood paste on the Shiva Lingam.

Lighting Lamps and Prasad: Light a lamp with pure ghee and offer sweets or Prasad to the Lord.

Reading the Vrat Katha: Read the Masik Shivratri story, which highlights the importance of devotion and faith.
