Launch of OnePlus 15R and 15R Ace Edition in India Today

Today marks the launch of the OnePlus 15R and OnePlus 15R Ace Edition smartphones in India, with enthusiasts eagerly anticipating their debut. These new devices are expected to deliver impressive performance and aesthetics.

The launch event is set for 7 PM IST in Bengaluru, during which the company will also introduce the OnePlus Pad Go 2. Users unable to attend in person can catch the event live on OnePlus India’s YouTube channel and other official social media platforms.

Expected Pricing and Availability
Although OnePlus hasn't disclosed the official prices, rumors indicate that the OnePlus 15R may be available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. Anticipated pricing for the 256GB model ranges between Rs. 47,000 and Rs. 49,000, while the 512GB variant could surpass Rs. 52,000. There may also be bank discounts of up to Rs. 4,000 available. The smartphones will be offered through Amazon and the OnePlus India online store, with color choices including Charcoal Black, Mint Green, and Electric Violet.

Specifications and Features
The OnePlus 15R series is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, based on a 3nm process, making it one of the fastest available smartphones. It also includes a G2 Wi-Fi chip and Touch Response Chip, with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 as the operating system. The devices are designed with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

For photography enthusiasts, the OnePlus 15R offers robust capabilities, boasting a 50MP rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP front camera. It supports 4K video recording at up to 120 frames per second, catering to both content creators and casual users.

Display and Battery
Both models are equipped with a 165Hz high-refresh-rate display, enhancing visual fluidity and gaming experiences. Additionally, the robust 7,400mAh battery ensures extended use throughout the day without compromising performance.

With their advanced technology, superior cameras, and impressive battery life, the OnePlus 15R and 15R Ace Edition are poised to make a significant impact in India's vibrant smartphone market.
