The Russian space agency has achieved a significant milestone with the launch of the Progress MS-34 cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS), which is loaded with over 2.5 tons of critical supplies.
Roscosmos confirmed that the craft took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome and is en route to the ISS.
Among the cargo, there are 1,348 kg of dry provisions stored in the pressurized module, including 483 kg of food, 333 kg of hygiene products, 311 kg of equipment for repairs, 146 kg of personal protective gear, and 75 kg of medical and scientific items.
Additionally, within the refueling segment, the spacecraft comprises 700 kg of propellant, 420 kg of water, and 50 kg of oxygen.
A key item onboard is the Orlan-MKS suit No. 8, designated for upcoming spacewalks from the Russian part of the station.
The docking with the Zvezda module of the ISS is expected to occur on April 28 at approximately 12:01 a.m. GMT.
