PureHealth proudly announces that it has exceeded AED6.33 billion in local procurement since its engagement with the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology’s (MoIAT) National In-Country Value (ICV) program in 2022.
This significant achievement reflects a sharp rise from the AED2.25 billion recorded in 2025, underscoring PureHealth’s pivotal role in supporting the UAE’s efforts towards economic diversification and industrial advancement.
The milestone was highlighted during PureHealth’s participation in the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026 event, where it showcased ongoing initiatives aimed at bolstering local industries and enhancing the national healthcare ecosystem through the ICV program.
The company is on track to meet its commitment of AED13 billion in ICV by 2032, with strategies aimed at fortifying local supply chains, supporting UAE industries, and promoting sustainable economic growth.
PureHealth reported noteworthy ICV achievements across its healthcare network, with SEHA scoring an ICV of 81.13 percent. Other contributors include Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Daman, PureLab, and Rafed.
According to PureHealth, their cohesive strategy has facilitated the integration of localisation in procurement, operations, and workforce development across various sectors of their business.
Rashed AlQubaisi, Group Chief Operating Officer of PureHealth, noted that their ICV strategy is crucial in expanding the company’s impact within the healthcare field.
He emphasized that surpassing AED6.33 billion in local procurement showcases the company’s commitment to investing in local suppliers, building national capacities, and enhancing logistics and sourcing operations. Additionally, fostering local capabilities not only strengthens supply chain resilience but also supports the continuity of care and aligns with the UAE’s long-term economic objectives.
PureHealth’s initiatives have gained national accolades. In 2026, SEHA was honored with the ICV Champion Award at Make it in the Emirates, while Rafed received the same recognition in 2025 for encouraging SME participation through the ICV program.
Moreover, Daman garnered three awards from the Emiratisation initiative Nafis, including first place for “Efforts Supporting Emiratisation” and a Diamond Category award for employee empowerment.
