Qatar and Jordan have engaged in talks aimed at fortifying their diplomatic relations while promoting initiatives to alleviate regional tensions.
In a recent phone call, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ayman Safadi explored various avenues of cooperation between their nations.
The dialogue emphasized the importance of Pakistan-led mediation efforts between the U.S. and Iran, as well as broader regional strategies aimed at fostering stability and de-escalation.
Both leaders underlined the necessity of sustained diplomatic dialogue to mitigate tensions and prevent escalation. They also acknowledged the need for constructive engagement from all involved parties to achieve peaceful solutions.
Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives that tackle the underlying causes of regional discord, ultimately aiming for sustainable agreements that promote lasting peace and stability.
