Qatar and Egypt Discuss Ceasefire Between Iran and the US

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, engaged in a phone conversation with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates.

During their discussion, the leaders emphasized the strong ties between Qatar and Egypt, while seeking avenues to bolster further cooperation between their nations.

Key points of the dialogue included the evolving situation in the region, particularly the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, as well as ongoing international and regional efforts to alleviate tensions and promote stability within the Middle East.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani underscored the necessity for all parties to embrace the ongoing mediation initiatives. He emphasized addressing the underlying causes of the crisis through peaceful dialogue and diplomatic actions to forge a lasting resolution and avert additional escalations in the area.
