Al Arabi defeated Qatar SC 37-21 on Sunday in the opening match of the 2025/2026 Qatar Men’s Handball League season. The reigning champions showcased their strength and determination in front of enthusiastic fans.

In other first-round fixtures, Al Gharafa edged past Al Sadd with a narrow 28–25 victory, demonstrating competitive spirit and resilience. Al Duhail also started the season strongly, securing a 29–25 win over Al Shamal.

These results indicate that the 2025/26 season will be closely contested among the league’s top clubs.

The first round continues on Monday with two exciting matches. Al Khor is set to face Al Ahli, while Al Rayyan will take on Al Wakrah. Fans can expect competitive and high-paced action as teams look to secure early wins in the season.
