Al Arabi defeated Qatar SC 37-21 on Sunday in the opening match of the 2025/2026 Qatar Men’s Handball League season. The reigning champions showcased their strength and determination in front of enthusiastic fans.

In other first-round fixtures, Al Gharafa edged past Al Sadd with a narrow 28–25 victory, demonstrating competitive spirit and resilience. Al Duhail also started the season strongly, securing a 29–25 win over Al Shamal.
