Qatar Praised For Hosting FIVB U18 Beach Volleyball 2025

The FIVB U18 Beach Volleyball World Championships were held in Qatar at the Al Gharafa Beach Courts, with 64 teams from 55 countries participating. The event received high praise from all delegations for the excellent organization and readiness of tournament facilities.

First Middle East Edition

This is the first edition of the U18 Beach Volleyball World Championships to take place in the Middle East, demonstrating Qatar’s ability to host major sporting events according to international standards. The event reflects Qatar’s growing reputation as a global sports hub.

Brazilian Delegation Applauds Organization

Adriano Rosa, head of the Brazilian delegation, said this was his first visit to Doha and he was impressed by the high level of organization. He noted that the tournament was professionally coordinated and praised Qatar for its distinguished reputation in hosting international events.

Moroccan Delegation Highlights Excellence

Aziz Melehi, head of the Moroccan delegation, expressed admiration for the advanced infrastructure, world-class stadiums, and top-level logistical services. He added that Qatar has a strong history of successfully hosting major continental and international tournaments.

Egyptian Delegation Praises Every Aspect

Shawkat Saber Thabet, head of the Egyptian delegation, praised Qatar for providing world-class stadiums, accommodation, transportation, media coverage, and a fully organized tournament. He highlighted how the excellent organization enabled teams to perform at their best, calling it one of the best U18 beach volleyball championships.

Technical Performance Matches Organization

Delegates also noted the high level of technical performance in both men’s and women’s competitions, making the championship a success on all levels. The combination of excellent organization and competitive play left a strong positive impression on all participants.

Qatar’s Growing Sports Reputation

The successful hosting of the FIVB U18 Beach Volleyball World Championships 2025 reinforces Qatar’s position as a country capable of staging world-class sports events. Its commitment to infrastructure, logistics, and athlete support continues to set global benchmarks.
