Qatar Weekend Weather Update: Rain, Fog, Mist, and Partly Cloudy

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Qatar Meteorology Department has issued its weekend weather report, covering the period from Thursday, December 4, 2025, to Saturday, December 6, 2025. Residents and visitors can expect varying weather conditions, with temperatures ranging between a minimum of 20°C and a maximum of 28°C across the country.

On Thursday, December 4, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with low chances of rain during the day. By night, skies may turn hazy to misty, reducing visibility in some areas. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions if traveling during nighttime, as fog and mist could impact driving conditions.

Friday, December 5, will bring more dynamic weather, particularly in the Eastern areas of Qatar. Offshore regions are likely to experience thundery rain accompanied by strong winds, creating potentially challenging conditions for maritime and coastal activities. Inshore Eastern areas will mostly remain partly cloudy with low chances of rain. Misty and foggy conditions may occur during early morning and late night, making it necessary for motorists to exercise caution on roads.

Saturday, December 6, is forecasted to begin with poor visibility, which may continue into the morning hours. As the day progresses, weather in most parts of Qatar will be partly cloudy, while fog and mist will persist in some areas, particularly in low-lying regions. Evening skies are expected to remain partly cloudy, creating a mix of mild and cooler conditions for outdoor activities.

The weekend’s weather report highlights the importance of monitoring local updates, as strong winds and thundery showers may affect outdoor plans, particularly in coastal and offshore areas. Boaters, fishermen, and other maritime users should remain cautious and follow safety guidelines. Similarly, drivers should be mindful of fog and mist, which can reduce visibility and increase the risk of accidents.

The upcoming weekend will see a combination of partly cloudy skies, mist, fog, and occasional rainfall in certain regions. Despite these conditions, daytime temperatures will remain moderate, offering comfortable conditions for most daily activities. Evening and night temperatures are expected to drop slightly, creating a cooler atmosphere across the country.

The Qatar Meteorology Department continues to monitor and update weather forecasts regularly to ensure public safety and preparedness. Citizens and visitors are encouraged to check official forecasts before traveling, especially if engaging in outdoor or maritime activities, to avoid disruptions caused by unpredictable weather patterns.
