Salman Khan Celebrates His Bond With Dharmendra During Qatar Tour

Post by : Meena Hassan

While in Qatar for the Dabangg Tour, Salman Khan revealed insights into his fitness journey and highlighted his long-time inspiration: Dharmendra. He mentioned how Dharmendra's photo has motivated numerous fitness enthusiasts.

On stage, Salman shared, “Before me, there was only one person — Dharam ji. He holds a fatherly place in my heart. I adore him and hope to see him return soon.”

The affection is reciprocated, as Dharmendra has referred to Salman as his “third son,” underscoring their strong connection. Fans reminisced about an old clip from Bigg Boss where Dharmendra quipped, “He is my son. I have three sons — all are emotional and strong, but he’s the closest to me,” eliciting laughter from Salman and Bobby Deol.

Dharmendra also showered praise on Salman’s vibrant personality and his passion for dance, remarking that he shares a similar zest for life.

Earlier this month, Salman was spotted outside Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai where Dharmendra was being treated. The venerable actor, at 89, was discharged on November 12 and is currently recovering at home. Sunny Deol's team has requested fans and media to respect Dharmendra's privacy, expressing gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers.
