Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Alswaha, met with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman in the United States to discuss ways to strengthen global partnerships in artificial intelligence (AI). The meeting focused on expanding collaboration in generative AI technologies and supporting the development of innovative AI solutions.
During the discussions, both sides explored the idea of establishing AI inference centers globally. These centers will help build advanced infrastructure that supports trusted AI applications, enabling safer and more effective use of artificial intelligence worldwide.
The collaboration aims to enhance Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for AI research and technology development.
