The Saudi national pavilion finished its participation at Milan’s Artigiano in Fiera, a top exhibition for handicrafts and traditional arts. The pavilion shared Saudi Arabia’s heritage and culture with international visitors.
The pavilion was organized by the Ministry of Culture. It brought together several Saudi cultural and tourism groups to show the Kingdom as an important cultural and tourist destination.
Many Saudi organizations joined, including the Heritage Commission, Theater and Performing Arts Commission, Culinary Arts Commission, the Royal Institute for Traditional Arts (Wrth), the Royal Commission for AlUla, Saudi Tourism Authority, and the Saudi Artisanal Company.
More than 140 Saudis took part, including artisans, chefs, and traditional music and dance groups. They showed traditional crafts like bisht tailoring, agal weaving, Sadu weaving, incense burners, and rosaries.
Students from Wrth also joined. Twenty trainees displayed their work in Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, pottery, embroidery, and woodcraft. This showed how Saudi youth are learning to keep traditions alive.
The Saudi Artisanal Company presented handmade products to show the high quality of Saudi craftsmanship. The pavilion also welcomed guests with coffee and guided them through the exhibits.
Visitors enjoyed traditional Saudi food, including dates, coffee, and special dishes. Saudi chefs gave live cooking demonstrations, and two traditional performing arts groups performed for the audience.
Saudi Arabia’s participation in Artigiano in Fiera helps in cultural exchange. By showing its crafts, food, and arts, the Kingdom shares its culture with the world and strengthens its international presence.
