In a major moment for Saudi Arabia and the world of gaming, three female Saudi gamers – Lynx, Lunar, and Livin – made headlines by taking part in the 2025 Esports World Cup. They played in the “Mobile Legends: Bang Bang” tournament as members of the Saudi team called Twisted Minds. Their participation marks a historic step forward, as it was the first time a Saudi female team reached such a global level in competitive gaming.

Reaching the Finals

Twisted Minds didn’t just participate – they made it to the finals! They earned their spot by winning a very important match against another Saudi team, Falcons Vega MENA. This match was crucial because it decided which team would move on from Group A. Twisted Minds gave their best and came out on top, grabbing the final qualifying spot. It was a proud moment for the players, their supporters, and the country.

A New Experience for the Team

One of the players, Lunar, spoke about how big of a deal this tournament was for her and the team. She said that taking part in such a large and competitive global event was a life-changing experience. Competing with teams from all over the world made them learn and grow, not just as gamers but also as individuals. It was exciting and challenging, but the team showed great courage and determination.

Ready to Take on the World

Lunar also said that the team felt ready for the challenge. Even though it was their first time on such a big international stage, they were not nervous. They believed in their skills and teamwork. The girls trained hard for this moment and wanted to show the world what Saudi players, especially women, can do. They aimed to win matches, impress fans, and raise their country’s flag with pride.

Big Support from Saudi Esports Federation

One of the reasons Twisted Minds was so prepared is the huge support they received from the Saudi Esports Federation. This organization helped them every step of the way. They provided high-quality gaming equipment, technical help, and coaching. They also managed the team and gave them opportunities to take part in training camps and earlier tournaments.

These regional competitions gave the team the practice they needed before facing global opponents. It wasn’t just about gaming—it was about learning how to stay calm under pressure, work as a team, and play smart. All of these helped the team improve quickly and get ready for the World Cup.

A Year of Hard Work

Getting to the World Cup didn’t happen overnight. The team had been preparing for over a year. During this time, they worked on improving their strategies, communication, and game knowledge. The players had to balance training with other parts of their lives, but they stayed focused and determined.

They spent countless hours practicing every day, reviewing gameplay footage, and learning from other professional teams. It wasn’t easy, but their passion and commitment paid off when they reached the finals.

Role Models for Future Gamers

What makes this even more special is that these women are now role models for other girls in Saudi Arabia and around the world. Gaming is often seen as a male-dominated space, but Lynx, Lunar, and Livin have shown that girls can compete at the highest levels too. Their courage to stand on a global stage will inspire many young gamers who dream of doing the same.

The team also represents the changing face of Saudi Arabia, where more women are stepping into roles that were once seen as off-limits. From sports to business to gaming, Saudi women are showing their talent and making their mark.

More Than Just a Game

This story is more than just about winning or losing in a video game. It’s about breaking barriers and changing perceptions. It’s about national pride, teamwork, and the support system that made all of this possible. It’s about what happens when people are given the right tools, belief, and opportunities to succeed.

For the Twisted Minds team, this is only the beginning. They’ve proven they belong on the world stage. Win or lose in the finals, they’ve already made history.

Looking Ahead

As the Esports World Cup continues, fans across Saudi Arabia and beyond will be cheering for Twisted Minds. No matter what happens next, their journey has already had a big impact. It opened doors and created new dreams for future players.

We can expect to see more Saudi female gamers rise in the esports scene in the coming years. Thanks to the groundwork laid by teams like Twisted Minds and the support from organizations like the Saudi Esports Federation, the future of gaming in the Kingdom looks bright.
