Saudi Artisanal Company to Display Handicrafts at Riyadh Airport

Post by : Mariam Al-Faris

The Saudi Artisanal Company, a key part of the Kingdom’s cultural ecosystem, has signed a partnership agreement with Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) to promote Saudi handicrafts at King Khalid International Airport. The partnership aims to introduce visitors and international travelers to the rich cultural identity of Saudi Arabia through authentic artisanal products. The signing took place during the Made in Saudi Expo 2025, highlighting the country’s ongoing efforts to celebrate and strengthen its national culture.

This initiative is part of the Year of Handicrafts 2025, a national program designed to empower local artisans and increase the visibility of Saudi craftsmanship both within the country and abroad. The agreement plans to dedicate special airport spaces to showcase carefully selected handicrafts. These spaces will allow travelers to see and experience Saudi creativity, craftsmanship, and the blend of traditional and modern artistic designs in a unique setting.

Visitors will enjoy an integrated cultural experience that reflects the depth, authenticity, and quality of Saudi handicrafts. The project also provides an opportunity for local artisans to connect with a wider global audience, helping them reach international markets while promoting the Kingdom’s rich artistic heritage. Through this collaboration, Saudi Arabia aims to position its traditional crafts as symbols of national pride, innovation, and artistic excellence.

The partnership between the Saudi Artisanal Company and RAC represents a significant step in promoting Saudi culture internationally. Travelers passing through King Khalid International Airport will now be able to enjoy a vibrant display of local artistry, enhancing their journey while celebrating the Kingdom’s craftsmanship and heritage. By combining traditional techniques with modern presentation, the initiative highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to preserving and promoting its unique handicrafts for generations to come.
